Makeda speaks to Solomon
from across the room
arms distance
eyes locked
hearing his words
and history
stilled
by mere words.
Solomon speaks to Makeda
before he bows before
the queen
and wonders at her
...very presence.
Makeda and Solomon speak
with like minded
singularity
...finishing sentences
conquering worlds
with simple wisdom.
Solomon and Makeda speak
and bring life
into the voide
wisest man, queen of Sheba
same coin, on both sides.
Makeda and Solomon speak
and their words
are simultaneous
and are love.
Solomon and Makeda speak
of shared ideas
and riches untold
more than gold
are the wealth of their words.
Solomon spoke to Makeda
and asked for her hand
and heart and mind
and offered a fair exchange
both dissatified with
take...take...take
or
give...give...give
Makeda spoke to Solomon
and reminded him that he is
a man...
strong...needed...felt
not a boy
needing, unfeeling, strengthless
She brought him
what so many others
(and there are many)
could not...
He brought her
inspiration
when so few
moved her
Solomon and Makeda spoke
wrote
their lives for all to see.
