When you held me in your arms I thought it was forever
The touch of you hands and lips made me want to never leave
By your side I tried to remain your little angel
I hung your words by my heart and simple left them there
Never had I imagined love that was so complete
Nor had I ever dreamed that your love would find me
When you held me and softly stroked my face, I knew that after that moment in time I wouldn't be the same
Oh could you blame me after from whence I came
I wanted to still believe and you had no game---
You came to me through words your lyric enticed my brain
And we mentally exchanged love in the spoken form and way of tongue
We become intellectually as one
We grooved and froze a small frame of time
When you held me for the first time..........I knew you had to be mine
When you held me with your sweet caress and tender loving ways
I wanted to get lost and tucked away with you for days
When you held me heart sung, and my spirit cried out in rejoice for you're one of a kind
You had me with your smile which lit up my world, you made me feel like a lil bity girl
When you held me you had my heart and I knew that I'd love you till death do we part
