-Days appear only as nights when lost in the abyss of darkness; can’t find the lights
Atmosphere thicker than quicksand and blacker than a million midnights

-Unable to see my own hand or so much as its silhouette in front of my face
Confused, off-balanced, discouraged, deception impeding my once quick pace

-Mind clouded, vision shrouded, left is all that’s left, cause right just don’t seem right
Lacerated, contused, bleeding and stumbling helplessly devoid of sight or insight
Should the towel be thrown in or perhaps just bandage the wounds and continue to fight

-Entire directive, appearing deceptive, imperative, to sever the connective of the impious collective
Although seeming overprotective with judgments selective, continued persevering with a righteous perspective

-In search of His peaceful perfection, not ephemeral affection, some meaningless seminal erection, or fictitious connection
In desperate need of His protection, Fatherly correction, illuminating direction, dispelling insubordinate insurrection

-Empowering with the strength to avoid those solely pulchritudinous, ironically atrocious within
Eradicating the purposeful ill-fated plans of the evil one, who must reluctantly now rescind

-Restoring faith completely solid from becoming simply deliquesce
Not here on Earth to stay, yet remaining grounded with only God to impress

-He is before me, evil one behind me, the once dim way is now clear
All belligerent, possessive, or pugnacious must also aversely retreat to the rear

-Feeling a celebration is in order, while reflecting back on those times
Once scraping and scrounging for the devil’s pennies profusely, ignoring God’s valuable and devoted dimes

-Exceptionally blessed with a dime He placed by my side, continuing to encourage and lead
Digesting knowledge as if food, the light shines bright, for God grants the ability for us all to succeed

This was the first poem I read on this site and I must say I was very impressed. Your grammar, content, knowledge and expression were all on point. Keep doing what you're doing. One Love.
