Gravity’s defied,
insanity’s defined as
brothers screaming keep it real
while living a lie
which parts of your sisters
do you choose to defile?
The breasts or thighs...
Why not try,
looking into their eyes
and making love to their minds.
The windows to their souls
have been swollen and shut close
on the receiving end of egotistical blows
victimized by our spiritual assault and battery
makes them unable to see
their moment of clarity..
Pimps up, hoes down
immature minded brothers slowdown
our ascension will never take place
without the presence of our women’s grace.
These so called hoes
we so proudly disrespect
will become the anchors
that snap our emasculated necks.
Gravity’s defied,
insanity’s defined as
cultural exploitation
without intellectual representation.
This generation
has succumbed to frustration.
That black on black situation
will no longer be tolerated.
It is our own self hatred
which makes us the most hated.
The last real n*gger
alive
found it hard to survive
when the first intelligent brother
put an end to his genocide
Young brothers stand up
pump your fists, put your hands up
but first...pull your damn pants up.
Respectability demanded
can never be denied.
Your mis education has been scripted.
You're being force fed lies.
Neighborhood drug czars
are spending decades behind bars
for possession of a few crack viles
while, some affluent suburbanite
with a kilo of cocaine
never sees trial.
For these racist laws
we must thank none other than
Nelson D. Rockefeller y’all
who was nothing more
than another wealthy, racist bastard
*and that’s who Jay-Z,
chose to name his company after*.
Gravity’s defied,
insanity’s defined as
tracing the aids epidemic
to the distribution of free needles
back to neighborhood health clinics.
Homosexual and Haitians were targeted
and unknowingly spread the pollution
when they were given tainted fluids
during emergency blood transfusions.
The depths of this governments treachery
defies human logic.
Spread the disease
withhold the knowledge
while increasing government funding
and medicinal profits.
Yet how were they supposed to know
so many white Americans slept with blacks
and were pseudo heterosexuals
who hadn’t yet come out of the closet.
These aren’t just words I am writing.
This isn’t just poetry I’m reciting.
This is realistic, humanistic
grown folk business
this is the real world...
So stop existing in it
and start living in it.
