The quiet nights of Caruthersville, Missouri
just me and my thoughts,
the ones strong yet never expressed.
Kept deep inside pushed away
only to be brought up again
by the silence that fills the capacity
reaching even the dark lonely corners of the room.
Captivated by fear and locked away by anxiety.
Released by the lonliness that comes every now and then.
Playing hide and seek with reality
trying to run from feelings that haunt
your true being.
captivating your true happiness
leaving you to live in the depth
of a smile.
When your soul
is screaming for relief of the pressure
your most inner thoughts cause,
just because they want to escape.
Now you are running in
a never ending race to find real happiness
self happiness because,
your never truly happy unless it comes from within.
And all these thoughts are saying is
your "Greatest Fear" is You!
True....no one can scare your self like yourself by the hell you bring to your own life....i enjoyed the read Sweet. Thank you.
