I wonder if this rain will ever stop falling.
Maybe I can stop it if I just stop calling.
Somewhere along the road things got turned around.
The one who had been building me up began tearing me down.
My heart smashed to pieces which hit like bricks on the ground.
My seemingly permanent smile became a constant frown.
Why do I try to force things clearly not meant to be?
Ignoring the true and obvious hurts no one but me.
Finally, I have made the realization.
The man of my dreams doesn't share my infatuation.
I'm not saying I have moved on and gotten over him in a day.
I am saying that by facing reality the pain will eventually go away.
