another chapter
in my book
is about to begin
i am flying off
away from the nest
getting ready for
lifes test

high school

i am scared
i am nervous
i dont know
what to expect

im trying to hold on
to my childhood
but its slipping away
i wanna go back

to the hot summerdays
all the time to play
not thinking about tommorow
with no kind of sorrow
